Ans. When you add your city then we are providing option to add athan from 2001 to 2020. In one click you can add athan for one complete year.

Ans. Actually some times more than one city has same name and spelling in one country but there state and location is different. If you are living in USA and Canada then we are showing state name with every city so you can select your city easily but if you belong to other countries then we are showing latitude and longitude of all cities so you can differentiate your city from other cities with same name.

Ans. No. You do not need internet connection to run athan software. You only need internet connection when you want to add your city in software. By default, Makkah city is present and you can add any city in the world.

Ans. Yes, on every prayer time, Athan (Azan) will play automatically and if it does not play then please first click the "Play" button in main window and make sure that you can hear the Athan sound. For testing automatic Athan sound, you can adjust your system clock one minute before of any prayer time for testing Athan sound.

Ans. Windows 9X, NT, 2000, XP and Sound card.

Q17. Is there any precaution before installing new version of Athan(Azan) software.
Ans. Yes, if you have old version of software then first exit from it. If Athan software icon is present at the right bottom corner near the clock time then right click it and choose "Exit" from menu. Now uninstall the old version and then install the new verion.

Q18. How to change the prayer calculation method?
Ans. When you first time add your city in the software then before pressing the button "Add this city" check the prayer time and change the prayer calculation method located at right the side. If you have already added the your city in the software and now you want to change prayer calculation method then delete your city from the list and again add your city as you added it first time.

Q19. Which prayer times depend on the Prayer calculation method and juristic method?
Ans. Fajr and isha prayer time depend on five prayer calculation methods.

Asr prayer time depend on juristic method. In the standard method (which is used by imamas Shafi, Hanbali, and Malki) the Asr prayer time starts when the shadow of an object is equivalent to its height. Whereas in the Hanafi method the Asr prayer time starts when the shadow of an object is twice its height.

Ans. You need to check your computer date and time. Please right click the time clock in the right bottom corner and choose "Adjust Date/Time". Now set your today date and time and press "OK" now check the date and time in the Athan software.
