7. Anchor Cable at Station
Anchor the cable end to either a wall or cabinet inside the station using the mounting bracket or plate provided as shown in Figure 3.

To fasten the mounting bracket to a masonary wall, drill two 9/32-inch holes one inch deep, using the bracket as a template. Attach the bracket to the cable connector with the large brass nut and tighten it with a wrench. Then hammer a rawlplug into each hole in the wall and attach the bracket with self-tapping screws.

To fasten the mounting plate to a bulkhead or cabinet, drill three 9/32-inch holes using the plate as a template. Also drill a one-inch hole at the center to allow clearance for the cable connector and brass nut. Remove burrs from the holes with a file. Attach the mounting plate to the cable connector with the large brass nut and tighten it. Then attach the plate to the cabinet with 1/4-20 threaded hardware.

8. Connect Cable to Transmitter
Remove the protective bag or plastic end caps from the ends of the 1/4-inch foam jumper cable. Attach one end to the wall- or cabinet-mounted cable and the other end to the transmitter output jack. Hand-tighten the connections. Fill the voids of UHF connectors with silicone grease -- never use silicone grease inside N connectors.
