The Types RLA300-12, RLA600-12, AND RLA800-12 Horizontal
Suspension Hangers are designed for use with 3-1/8", 6-1/8",
and 8-3/16" transmission lines, respectively. Suspension hangers
are usually attached along horizontal transmission line runs at
approximately 10 ft (3 m) intervals to accomodate vertical
movement caused by the differential expansion/contraction of the
vertical run. The suspension hanger kits include clamp segments, spring hangers, and required mounting hardware. |
Thoroughly Before Assembly Attach corresponding spring hangers to surrounding structure (ice shield assembly, etc.) as shown. Adjust hanger assembly to position of least amount of strain. Apply equal tensioning to spring hangers by evenly tightening corresponding adjustment hardware. |
