 Sealant to Shield near the bottom of the shield. Attach the air scoop and screen to the shield with six bolts and lock washers as shown in Figure 7. The open end of the scoop must be directed toward the front of the antenna. |
 Apply a continuous void-free bead of sealant (supplied) along the shield and air-scoop edges indicated in Figure 8 to prevent moisture entry. Apply sealant to all four shield overlap edges and to the edges of the air-scoop cover plate at the top of the shield. |
