8. Cover the TX end of the cable section with one of the
supplied plastic bags. Remove only when ready to install
onto the previous section. 9. If the new section requires bending, bend according to the procedures given in Section 3.5.4. 10. For low-level supports, place the next section in position on the installed cradles of the hangers. For high-level or transition supports, install the lifting assemblies from the set (#221755). |
Attach short nylon chokers, ropes, and pulleys between the cable
and each lifting assembly. Lift the cable, keeping it horizontal,
until it is nesting loosely against the cradles. THE TX END OF
THE NEW SECTION MATES WITH THE ANT END OF THE PREVIOUS SECTION.
CAUTION: Avoid damage to the exposed inner conductor at the TX end. |
