SmartTelco

SmartTelco is the trademark of VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminals) product of Infokom. VSAT system which are classified as digital satellite transmissions, have gained wide market acceptance. Initially developed to provide cost effective networking solutions bypassing terrestrial systems, VSAT systems have found even greater applications in private corporate networks.

Services

• Point to Point
  In terms of operations, this service uses SCPC (Single Channel Per Carrier), and for highly efficient communications, this system uses MCPC (Multiple Channel Per Carrier) - allowing data, voice and video to be combined and sent it one carrier through addition of a Multiplexer.

• Bandwidth On Demand (BOD)
  BOD (Bandwidth on Demand) enabling you to increase link speed up to 2 Mbps when needed through SNMS (Satellite Network Management System as well as the route of the link at INFOKOMELEKTRINDO Hub station without using technicians. Also with SNMS (Satellite Network Management System), the network is monitored and controlled 24 hours to identify and solve problems down to the port easily and quickly.
  Another advantage from BOD is the transparency and flexibility towards your existing protocol.

• DAMA
  DAMA Voice uses mesh topology which allows point-to-multi point communications in one hop, avoiding long delays in communications. DAMA Voice is charge at a fixed rate not by volume of usage. This makes your operations more cost-effective.
  DAMA Voice is available in two bandwidths - 16 Kbps and 32 Kbps. It has the SNMS (Satellite network Management System) at INFOKOMELEKTRINDO Hub Station which controls and monitors the network 24 hours, thus giving the ability to identify and solve problem easily and quickly.

• TDMAPLUS
  TDMAPLUS operates on a double hop access method - sending data from the head office to branches and vice-versa via INFOKOMELEKTRINDO Hub Station. TDMAPLUS adopts a star typology (single point to multi-points). The TDMAPLUS service has an SNMS (Satellite Network Management System) at INFOKOMELEKTRINDO Hub Station to monitor and control the network 24 hours making it easier to identify and solve problems within the network. This efficiency in data transmission contributes to the profit of the company. TDMAPLUS is very flexible because it can fit into any existing applications and various popular kind of telecommunications protocol such as: TCP/IP, X.25, X.3 PAD, and SNA/SLDC.

• TDMAPLUS with MiniHub
  In TDMAPLUS with MiniHub product, the MiniHub is locating at customer base replacing the function of INFOKOMELEKTRINDO Hub Station. This makes the network reliable, flexible, and also it can reduce link downtime in communications, and ensures the confidentiality and security of the data transmitted. The MiniHub has an SNMS (Satellite Network Management System) facility that controls and monitors the network 24 hours, thus giving the ability to identify and solve problems easily and quickly. TDMAPLUS with Minihub accommodates TCP/IP, X.25, X.3 PAD, and SNA/SLDC protocols

• TWBS
  TWBS (Two Ways Broadband System) is a new product offered by SmartCom to companies that need the flexibility of communicating directly with their branch offices. Communications is similar SCPC (Single Channel Per Carrier) bypassing the INFOKOMELEKTRINDO Hub Station

• DVB/FTDMA
  DVB/FTDMA is a solution to provide the online data communication between the couple of branch offices and their Head Office, to have the use of latest and proven technologies base on VSAT IP-DVB. Technologies feature include :

  • FAST. Upgradeable the Outbound data rate up to 52.5 Mb and Inbound up to 512 Kb.

  • LATEST TECNOLOGIES. Outbound use of the DVBS system, that is the latest and proven technologies for broadcast data communication.

  • FTDMA. Is the dynamic mechanism used to reduce the data collisions and improve the data throughput.

  • IP BASE. Using the open data protocol and no required the external router.

  • DIAL BACKUP. As redundant link to cover the satellite link problem.

  • MONITORING. Centralized Monitoring and control to manage the network performance in 24 hours per day.
