The installation, maintenance, or removal of antenna systems requires qualified, experienced personnel. Andrew installation instructions have been written for such personnel. Antenna systems should be inspected once a year by qualified personnel to verify proper installation, maintenance, and condition of equipment. Andrew disclaims any liability or responsibility for the results of improper or unsafe installation practices. The Tower/Hanger Adaptor consists of 1/8" galanized stell angle punched with 7/16" and 3/4" holes, and is designed for installation on existing angle tower members. For clarity, |
the Tower/Hanger Adaptor will be referenced as the "adaptor" and tower member angles will be referenced as the "angle." The adaptor provides transmission line support for applications which require one, four or eight runs of transmission line. It is recommended the adaptors be installed to provide hanger spacing at 4 foot intervals. Standard waveguide/coaxial cable hangers attach to the adaptor using the 7/16" punches. The 3/4" punches are used when installing Andrew Snap-In Hangers for coaxial cable. Refer to Figure 1. The adaptor may be installed using either the hardware supplied in the J-Bolt Hardware Kit or the Angle Adaptor Kit. |
