The adaptor may be installed on either angled or horizontal tower bracing members at the discretion of the installer. However, the bracing pattern of the tower may affect the choice of adaptor-attaching hardware. Adaptor installation onto a tower using a back-to-back bracing configuration will require the use of clamps (supplied as part of the Angle Adaptor Kit) as attaching software. Installation of Type 206929-1008 (eight-run) adaptor on an X-braced tower will require the use of clamps if the positioning of the adaptor requires its placement at the point which the two X-braced tower angles intersect. An eight-run support can be achieved with the use of the J-Bolt Hardware kit, by installing two 206929-1004 (four-run) adaptors on either side of the intersection point of the X-braced tower angles. |

Loosely install 5/16" captivating bolt, flat washer, lock washer and nut onto each adaptor as shown. 1.2 Assemble appropriate number of J-bolts required for the attachment of corresponding adaptors using 3/8" flat washer, lock washer and nut as shown. |
