2.1 Refer to Figure 3. Position the adaptor onto the angle so that the punched flat of the adaptor is parallel to the the tower fae as shown. The outer edge of the flat of the angle should be located between the underside of the slotted flat of the adaptor and the captivating bolt and corresponding hardware. |
2.2 Install the J-bolt through the adaptor slots by hooking the curved end of the bolt into the slot as shown and then rotating the bolt. 2.3 Secure the J-bolt by hooking the curved end around the angle edge and hand tighten. Fully tighten the captivating bolt hardware, then fully tighten the J-bolt hardware. Each should be tightened to 10 ft-lb. |
